Meet Our Grooming Team

“I technically started grooming at the age of 9 or 10 on my best friend/sister that was a white miniature poodle.
Grooming encompasses some of my favorite parts of life: my love of animals, making animals and people happy and feel good (both physically and mentally- we all feel better when we look better), and of course exercising my creative side in sculpture (but with hair).
We currently have 3 dog children in our household an old man dachshund (Whiskey Lou), a beagle mix (Miss Emilié Ruth), and a fluffy shihtzu/havanese mix (Lil Soy Bean).”
Certifications:
• Certified Feline Master Groomer through the National Cat Groomers Institute of America
• Certified through National Dog Groomers Association of America and working towards my master certification through them (NDGAA)
• Certified in CPR
•Certified in Safe handling

He loves grooming as a career because there is always room to grow and learn new skills, making opportunities endless. He enjoys attending seminars and learning from the leading instructors in our industry.
Cason also wants to work towards his Master groomer certification and hopes to obtain his non-sporting breed certificate by the end of this year.

I became a vet tech in 2017 and absolutely loved what I did. A year later, I was introduced to grooming by the Veterinarian I worked for. I have never looked back!
I am so passionate about what I do and am always looking for ways to improve my work and build trusting relationships with my clients and their pets.
I care so much about animals and their well-being, and being able to make them look and feel as cute as can be.”

While her boyfriend pursued his Music City dreams, Lindsey began fostering dogs and working as a bather and kennel technician at a busy pet salon. There she was offered a grooming apprenticeship with some of the top pet stylists in Sumner County.
She takes immense pride in her grooming work and feels so fortunate to be able to fund her rescue hobby by working with the animals she loves most.

In addition to grooming, I've worked in the pet industry in a doggie daycare and boarding facility and have always had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs.
Grooming is such a privilege because I get to help dogs all the time and I'm always meeting animals and clients who enrich my life and work experience.
When I'm not grooming, I enjoy seeing live music, writing, hiking, singing/playing music with my husband, thrifting, and spending time with my loved ones. Speaking of loved ones, I have a dog and two cats so my house is quite lively! Crossroads is such a special place and I feel so much pride to be a part of their team!
